Black Emery Sand Black SIC 12#

Product Description
Black Emery Sand Black SIC 12# -1-
A grade black carborundum Grain 98% SiC Black silicon carbide 30#36#40#46#
Black Silicon carbide Grain is an extremely hard and 99% SiC carborundum grit. As an abrasive material, it can work well for abrasive blasting, surface treatment, grinding on hard material such as marble, glass, jade, etc.

Silicon Carbide is produced by a process involving the electrochemical reaction of silica(SiO2)-in the form of quartz mixed with Carbon(C) in the form of raw petroleum coke. The stoichiometric mixture is reacted in an electrical resistance furnace at a temperature up to 2500 centigrade to yield high-quality crystals. The process is large furnace technology with a graphite electrode in the furnace center. The large crystals are then segregated, crushed, cleaned of magnetic impurities in high-intensity magnetic separators, and classified into narrow size fractions to suit the end-use. Dedicated lines produce products for different applications.
Product Advantage
1.Good oxidation resistance and chemical stability at high temperatures.

2.High hardness with Mohs 9.2-9.3. Even at 2000℃, it’s still get high strength.
3.Excellent toughness.
4.Low thermal conductivity. So it can resistant to themal shock.
5.High purity min SiC content is 98.5%.
6.High bulk density.
7.Black silicon carbide grit is washed by water before milling process, so there is few impurities.

Application of White Fused Alumina, Green Silicon Carbide, Black Silicon Carbide, and Ceramic Beads in Wear-Resistant Coatings

Application of White Fused Alumina, Green Silicon Carbide, Black Silicon Carbide, and Ceramic Beads in Wear-Resistant Coatings
Wear-resistant coatings are critical for extending the service life of industrial equipment exposed to abrasion, corrosion, and high-impact conditions. The combination of white fused alumina (WFA), green silicon carbide (SiC), black silicon carbide (SiC), and ceramic beads (Zirconia/Alumina beads) significantly enhances coating performance. Below is a detailed analysis of their roles and synergistic effects in wear-resistant coatings.
